Mild steel sheet is a separate Metalex product line. Choose the sheet by application, forming/welding needs, thickness, finish and applicable material standard. MS describes a family of low-carbon steels, not one universal grade or certificate.
Sheet choices
Hot-rolled and cold-rolled forms have different surface, thickness and forming characteristics. Do not substitute a grade solely because both are called MS.

Confirm formability, weldability, corrosion protection and coating for fabrication, enclosures, ducts, brackets and general engineering.

What to include in your enquiry
Send the grade and material standard, product form, thickness or NPS, complete dimensions, schedule/class where relevant, finish/coating, quantity, intended application, inspection/certificate needs, destination and delivery timing. Confirm current stock and the quoted material certificate before ordering.

Catalogue reference: Sheet, plate & coil
The combined flat-product catalogue quotes width 1,250–2,500 mm, length up to 6,000 mm and thickness 0.1–50 mm, not a guaranteed MS-sheet-specific stock range. Carbon-steel flat grades named are IS 2062 Gr B, ASTM A36, ASTM A516 Grades 60/70 and C1045; match grade and material standard to use and gauge.
The catalogue lists plain, perforated and shim sheets; confirm whether a requested hot-rolled, cold-rolled or coated variant is available.
