Mild steel plate is a separate Metalex product line. ASTM A36 is one common structural carbon-steel specification, not a synonym for all MS plate. Match plate grade and thickness to the engineering drawing and service.

Send the grade and material standard, product form, thickness or NPS, complete dimensions, schedule/class where relevant, finish/coating, quantity, intended application, inspection/certificate needs, destination and delivery timing. Confirm current stock and the quoted material certificate before ordering.

Catalogue reference: Sheet, plate & coil
The combined flat-product catalogue quotes width 1,250–2,500 mm, length up to 6,000 mm and thickness 0.1–50 mm, not a guaranteed MS-plate-specific stock range. Carbon-steel flat grades named are IS 2062 Gr B, ASTM A36, ASTM A516 Grades 60/70 and C1045; verify the specification and certification of each quote.
Chequered plate, cut blanks and flange rings are named forms; confirm cut-to-size capability and tolerance.
